About these terms
These terms and conditions apply to everyone who enrols in a course, programme or event run by Eujim Academy, Gesora Road, Utawala, Nairobi, and to everyone who uses the eujimacademy.co.ke website. By applying for a course or using the website you agree to them.
Applications and enrolment
Submitting an application or enquiry does not guarantee a place. Your place on a course is confirmed when you receive written confirmation from our admissions team and the required fee or deposit has been received.
- Applicants must give accurate personal and contact details.
- Some courses have entry requirements, listed on the course page.
- Children's programmes require a parent or guardian to enrol on the child's behalf.
Fees and payment
Course fees are shown in Kenya Shillings (KES) on each course page and may change for future intakes. The fee confirmed at enrolment applies to your intake.
- Where instalments are offered, each instalment must be paid by the agreed date to continue attending.
- Fees cover tuition, learning materials and the certificate unless stated otherwise.
- Payment receipts are issued for every payment. Keep them for your records.
Deferrals, cancellations and refunds
If you cannot start or continue your course, contact admissions as early as possible. You may be able to defer to a later intake. Refunds, where applicable, follow the refund terms shared with you at enrolment. Eujim Academy may cancel or reschedule an intake, in which case you can move to another intake or receive a refund of fees paid for the cancelled intake.
Attendance and conduct
To get the most from your course, attend sessions, complete assignments and take part in projects. We expect every learner to treat instructors, staff and classmates with respect, both in class and online.
- Harassment, discrimination, cheating or misuse of equipment may lead to suspension or removal from a course without refund.
- Online learners should join from a quiet place and keep cameras on when asked.
Online classes and equipment
Online learners are responsible for their own device and internet connection. In-class learners may use campus computers during sessions and must take care of them. Recordings of online sessions, where provided, are for enrolled learners only and must not be shared.
Certificates
Certificates are awarded to learners who meet the course's attendance, assessment and project requirements and have cleared their fees.
Intellectual property
Course materials, slides, videos and resources are owned by Eujim Academy or its licensors and are provided for your personal learning. Projects you create during a course belong to you, and we may ask your permission to showcase them.
Photos and marketing
We sometimes take photos or videos during classes and events. Tell us in writing if you do not want images of you, or your child, to be used in our marketing.
Use of the website
You may use this website to learn about our courses and contact us. You must not misuse it, attempt to break its security or submit false or automated enquiries. Information on the website is provided in good faith and may change without notice.
Liability
We take care to deliver high-quality training, but we cannot guarantee employment or specific results after a course. To the extent allowed by law, Eujim Academy is not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of our courses or website.
Privacy
We handle your personal data as described in our privacy policy.
